The Oral Aesthetic Advocacy Group Inc.

Cosmetic Dentistry Grants Program

Attn: Lola Snidman

Dear Ms. Snidman:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your organization for your efforts to help in the effort to improve ones appearance and health with your kind Grant Program for Cosmetic Dental Enhancement.

Again in my particular situation you have enabled me to complete my treatment plan in a much shorter time than I ever thought possible. This is something that I had wanted to do for many years. Now because of your wonderful program I will be completely finished in early March.

Again this is a very important and beneficial service you have provided to many people. I will be able to smile again for a very long time now.

Sincerely,

Thomas Foley South Euclid, OH

The Oral Aesthetic Advocacy Group,

Thank you so much for awarding me the Cosmetic Dentistry Grant in the amount of 2,000 dollars. I am very grateful and appreciative to have received this grant from your organization.

I am a professional dancer/performer so my teeth are my prize possession. Being able to receive this grant from the Oral Aesthetic Advocacy Group has meant the world to me and I feel lucky.

I cannot express on paper how much this has meant to me and I want to thank you so much!

Sincerely,

Lynn Van Vorce Cypress , CA

To Whom It May Concern:

I would like to thank you very much for the $450 Discretionary Grant Award. I was very surprised to find that this was not a scam and I am very thankful for the help.

Furthermore, I would like to thank you for referring me to such a wonderful dentist. Dr. David Littlefield and his staff are extremely nice and professional. I have been searching for a good dentist for years and I really have one.

Sincerely,

Lori Hamlett Chula Vista, CA

Dear Lola Snidman, OAAG President

I gratefully accept the $600.00 @ 7% award per your letter of 1/20/12 and the "terms" included. The grant possibility was an encouragement to commit to the procedure.

At age 75, depending on Social Security, the decision was huge and delayed for a number of years. No one has seen me smile (or eat solid food) for quite some time.

My hope is that through completion of the work to be performed by Dr. David Littlefield, DDS, these functions will return. Self confidence and a healthy diet again will be of great benefit.

I am, of course, hoping to "win" a full grant. In the meantime you have my gratitude.

Most Sincerely Yours,

William S. Arbuckle Imperial Beach, CA

Dear Ms. Lola,

Thank you for the Cosmetic Dentistry Grant awarded by you and your organization. I was somewhat uncertain if this was a scam or a legitimate program designed to help individuals improve their self-esteem. I was extremely surprised to receive your email detailing my $625.00 award.

Also, I must acknowledge Paula Velasco for her help throughout the process. Each time I left a message for her I received a follow-up telephone call or an email.

Again, thank you for the grant and I will share my story with family members, co-workers and others. I look forward to working with you sometime in the near future.

Sincerely,

Archie O'neil Toronto, ON

Dear Ms. Snidman,

I wish to express my gratitude for your kind consideration. I have to wait a long time to do the much needed repair work and this is a great help to me.

Please accept this note as confirmation of my acceptance of this Discretionary Grant Award of $500 toward my inital treatment plan. If more than one grant is allowed, I hope you will allow me to apply for the next phase.

As a teacher my funds are limited and most of cosmetic dental work is out of pocket. I think it is wonderful of your foundation to make this good work go forward.

Please extend my thanks to the rest of the board of advisors: Dr. Kochman, Dr. Mercurio and Dr. Kazman.

Sincerely,

Christine Carson La Mesa, CA

I would like to thank you for the Discretionary Cosmetic Dentistry Grant. I will now have the opportunity to finally have my teeth fixed.

I would like to extend a special thank you to the Cosmetic Dentistry Grants Program. The grant I was awarded has helped me tremendously.

I entered the program six months ago and I am so pleased with all the updates I have received to date. Anytime I had called into the program with any questions all the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was referred to Dr. Corey Rubinoff whom I would also like to extend a special thank you too.

I am so pleased with all the work that was done. I feel like my smile now reflects my inner beauty. I feel confident and want to smile all the time! I will always remain a patient of Dr. Rubinoff and will refer him to all my family and friends.

I feel much gratitude towards to Cosmetic Dentistry Grants Program.

I cannot express enough my gratitude of thanks and in looking forward to my new smile and letting everyone know about how the Oral Aesthetic Advocacy Group Inc. changed my life for the better.

Thank you so much for awarding me with a partial grant to assist me in paying for my dental implant. This will help immensely as I had taken out a medical loan to pay for the procedure.

I am really happy that I initially contacted you when I thought about proceeding with a dental implant. You directed me to Dr. Kochman and his team to evaluate my mouth and then continue on the implant. This deserves a huge huge thank you as they have been so amazing every step of the way. The difference in my mouth from my initial visit 7 months ago today is night and day - and I owe it all to them.

But most importantly I have learned how necessary it is to take care of your mouth - to have a healthy mouth - inside and out!

Truly, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

Laura Austen Toronto, ON

Dear Lola Snidman and the Oral Aesthetic Advocacy Group,

I wanted to express my sincere thank for the Cosmetic Dentistry Award.

I am extremely appreciative to you and your organization for processing and approving my application for the grant. The utilization of this award towards improving my smile has made this out of reach goal an obtainable goal for me. I would not have been able to start this treatment without your help. I am looking forward to the end result.

I have been self-conscious of the condition of my teeth, especially the front ones and now with the grant I have been awarded I will be able to smile at everyone I see, in a short time frame!

ONCE again THANK YOU for the award.

Sincerely,

Julie Hatfield Littlelon, CO

To whom it may concern,

I am wirting to thank you for the grant of $2,700.00. Before I found out about this organization and applied for the grant, stariting the process of getting dental implants was a very far away dream, like going to the moon.

The grant gives me a little hope and allows me to see the beginning of the process. My treatment plan is very expensive so I will be doing it a little bit at a time. The grant is inspirational and better than waiting until all my teeth fall out. (Ha, Ha)

Dental implants are the future and I hope dental insurance starts covering the procedure.

Thank you again for offering this program.

Respectfully,

Barbara Nix San Juan Capistrano, CA

To whom it may concern,

To: Cosmetic Dentistry Grant Program

Just wanted to thank you for the dentistry grant that was offered to me through the program.

It will be a lot of help to me and my family since I am a single mother and the household provider and can't afford to spend too much money on myself.

I am hoping I can get the rest if I get picked on the random winners!

Thank you again.

Sincerely,

Leticia M Trueba San Diego, CA

Dear Lola Snidman,

I thank you for advising me of the Smile Quest Dental office in Rocklin, California. Dr. Charles Smurthewaite has been the only dental professional to really listen to my dental woes, of which I have many stemming back to my early formative years in a third world country.

Let me explain: I have multiple large bridges in my mouth that were installed while in my early 20's. In the Philippines where I grew up, they would extract teeth rather than save them. Nothing was done to address the crookedness of my front teeth, nor the clicking sounds my jaw made. I came to the US and had many of the gaps in my smile "fixed" with dental bridges. Now thirty years later, I find that the bridges no longer fit well and are in constant need of repair. Many have broken through the years, or the cement holding them in have degraded and loosened. I have also since discovered that my sinus cavity has been slowly dropping into the area where the roots of my original teeth should have been. Needless to say that I was always conscious of my not-so-happy smile.

Dr. Smurthewaite has formulated a treatment plan for me that will address almost all these problems, including the bone loss in my jaws. So even though the immediate benefit from all his hard work will be what people will notice first, my smile, he will also take care of all the other issues that would have affected my health over the long term. This is so important to me that my husband and I are taking loans from out retirement plan at work to finance my treatment plan up front.

I am truly thankful for the dental award grant from your organization. How lucky I was to stumble across your website one night! I had no idea that others would even care about the dental woes of complete strangers . . .and the offer of money was even harder to believe. I so look forward to attending my niece's wedding next September to show off my new smile.

Merry Christmas to you Ms. Snidman.

You have a good organization.

Sincerely,

Winifred G. Wachtel Toronto , ON

I am writing in regards to the award in the amount of $1450 that you have granted me for cosmetic dentistry. I am delighted to accept it.

Thanks again,

Ellis Riley Mcdonaugh, GA

To Cosmetic Dentistry Grants:

I would like to offer my sincere thanks for the opportunity to participate in your Grants Program. I don't think I would have had the courage to finally start the process of getting my teeth fixed with out the wonderful incentive of your program. It was now or never. Never was becoming a very undesirable option.

The bridge work and crowns I had done by Dr. Corey Rubinoff look wonderfully natural and now I can feel very confident about eating virtually anything and smiling as much as I want. I even do a lot of smiling at myself in the mirror! What a change - I love it! No more lost fillings, broken and repeatedly mended bridges, and no crooked teeth or embarrassing gaps. You provide a much needed service that more people should be aware of.

Thank you again for your assistance.

Sincerely,

L. Aitcheson Blackstock, ON

I just wanted to say thank you for all your help. I accidentally found your site, after I was told that I needed ALL my teeth pulled and replaced with Dental Implants. I was scared and upset. Through your program I found Dr. Buckler who has guided care of my teeth, and now I have a perfect smile, and I still have MY teeth. This has been such a blessing

THANK YOU!

Marsha Fricks Atlanta, GA

Dear Oral Aesthetic Advocacy Group:

I am deeply grateful and very appreciative for your financial assistance towards my dental care.

I needed a front tooth implant and additional dental work that I had been putting off for years because it was very expensive and I just didn't have the resources to do it. I was providing for my children the best I could and their needs had to come first. I also had an abusive marriage with a subsequent divorce that wreaked havoc finances I did have and for which I am still struggling with to get ahead.

My dental needs finally reached a point where things were getting progressively worse and something had to be done. Over the past several years, I also became very self conscious of my crooked teeth (and broken tooth which wasn't very visible bur contributed to a slight lisp I developed as my mouth became more and more out of alignment) which absolutely affected my self esteem.

Although I have had to relocate in order to keep my job, I will continue to see my wonderful dentist at Dr. Mercurio's office until my treatment is complete as i have complete faith and trust that I am being well taken care of under his expert and professional care.

Than you for the Discretionary Cosmetic Dentistry Grant. It is a Godsend.

Sincerely,

Kathleen Dunnegan Alexandria, VA

Dear Lola,

Thank you and your organization for my new grant. This will certainly help defray some of the high cost associated with my procedures at Dr. Mercurio's office.

Dr. Mercurio's staff, especially Dr. Michael Scalia, my personal dentist, has treated me with the highest level of professionalism than any other dentist office I have visited over the years. Dr. Scalia is the most professional and talented dentist I have ever gone to. He is very involved with my treatment on all levels. His mail concern is my well being and satisfaction.

I have had some very serious dental work with out any pain what so ever. Never even had to take an aspirin. Dr. Scalia always made sure I was comfortable and never experienced any discomfort. His is an amazing dentist with amazing dental skills. He is compassionate, sincere and by far the most talented dentist I have ever worked with.

I am anxiously awaiting the final result of all his hard work. He continually assures me I will be delighted and excited over the final results. I would recommend this team to anyone looking for the highest level of dental care in New Jersey. Dr. Mercurio has assembled the finest staff in the industry today. Everyone in his office, from the receptionist to the hygienist, are the most caring and professional people I have ever met.

Hope that I can be selected for other grants in the future. I would like to continue with more dental work that Dr. Scalia and I have discussed.

Your organization should be very pleased to be associated with such an exceptional group.

Dear Sirs,

Thank you for selecting me for the Cosmetic Dentistry Grant.

Eileen Ventimiglia Valley Stream , NY

Dear Lola Snidman,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for awarding me the Cosmetic Dentistry Grant in the amount of $725.00. This was a real surprise and I was amazed when I received the letter notifying me of the grant from your group.

I really appreciate the grant and am looking forward to start having the much needed dental fixtures done.

My thanks also goes to Paula Velasco for all the help she gave in making this happen as well as the donors for funding this program.

Please note that this means so much to me.

Sincerely,

Ernest Boakye Manassas, VA

Dear Oral Aesthetic Advocacy Group Inc,

Thank you a million times over for this partial grant.

This money is a big boost in helping me reach my goal of achieving the perfect smile. I have had to deal with missing a front tooth since I was in 3rd grade. My dental upkeep was abandoned by my parents. Now that I am an adult and it is my responsibility, I am often disappointed to find that no insurance will cover my dental needs.

The cost of these procedures have kept me from being able to get the work done. I think it is fantastic that your group is playing such a vital role in making dreams come true. Every day I wish I could smile and not be self conscious of judged. That day draws ever closer.

When I received the grant letter I cried tears of joy for the first time when it came to the topic of my teeth. Your group is sparking hope inside me, to think that someone really cares and is listening and understands the struggle that most face when dealing with implant surgery.

My profession requires me to be in the public eye and looking my best is important. I know I will be able to be at the top of my game once this dental work is done.

From the bottom of my heart thank you! Thank you! Keep up the fantastic work and please consider me for your full grant.

Sincerely,

Loritza Castillo Altamonte Springs, FL

Dear Ms. Lola Snidman,

I would like to thank the Cosmetic Dentistry Grant for awarding me $525 towards a dental implant procedure. I've wanted to get this procedure done for some time now, but with the assistance of the CDG my wait is finally over. For most individuals, $525 may not seem like a lot in the implant business, but that's the money I get to save. In today's economy the more money you get to put away the better.

I've made my appointment with Dr. Clark and am on the road to having a new smile.

Cosmetic Dental Grant is real and I would like to thank all of you who have made this possible.

Sincerely,

Roderick Johnson Washington, DC

I would like to thank you for selecting me for your program.

Dental work is quite expensive and insurance, if you are lucky enough to have it, just doesn't help enough. This program is a much needed program; I wish there were more of them.

It took a lot of research for me to find a program such as yours and I am truly grateful. I am sure that you are receiving many applications from people like myself that want to smile and just don't have the funds to do so.

The grant money will be put to good use.

Again thanks.

Regards,

Linda harris Atlanta, GA

Dear Ms. Snidman,

I would like to take this time to thank you for awarding me the Cosmetic Dentistry Grant in the amount of $1,100.

I am so thankful and truly appreciative for the grant.

I have contacted Dr. Robert Coleman's office and am in the process of scheduling an appointment with him.

Again, thank you so much! This means so much to me!

Sincerely,

Christi M. Kyriacou West Hempstead, NY

Dear Lola Snidman,

What a pleasant surprise! While being out of town I received your email with good news that I have been selected for a Discretionary Cosmetic Dentistry Grant.

This really means much to me at this time. I am grateful for this grant and am now looking forward to having the desired and much needed dental treatment done.

I also appreciate the help given me by Paula Velasco when I had questions and required clarification on a number of matters.

Thank you so much,

Rita Hill Ottawa , ON

Dear Lola Snidman,

I graciously thank you for the discretionary Cosmetic Dentistry Grant. The Grant will be a helpful reduction on my treatment plan with Shadi Shadid.

Receiving this grant brightened my day, and it continues to brighten my life as I ponder on all the years I have suffered with an un-desirable smile due to an almost fatal childhood accident.

This grant will aid me in actualizing a childhood dream to confidently share with others a truly 'beautiful smile'.

Your agency's effort to assist those with Cosmetic (and in my case compulsary) Dentistry is truly a sympathetic gesture. One I will not soon forget.

Warmly,

Marsha-Yolaine Kirlew Sioux Lookout, ON

Thank you very much for the partial grant of $1250. This grant will help towards the $45,000 dolar cosmetic dentistry work I am having done at Dr. Chanda Kale's office.  Dr. Kale is an excellent dentist and I am grateful for all the work he is doing for me.

Thank you again.

To all Cosmetic Dentistry Grant Employees,

I originally wasn't even going to enroll in this program because I thought it was too good to be true. Fortunately I was wrong. The CDG program has made improving my smile an easy possibility.  If not for the $750 grant I received I would not have been able to afford the work necessary.

Thank you so much!

Tyler Erwin Ottawa, ON

Dear Ms. Snidman & Board of Advisors,

Thank you for selecting me for a discretionary cosmetic dentistry grant in the amount of $1750.

After more than 20 years of dealing with the physical conditions of Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus, my teeth were damaged with sever decay.  Finding the OAAG on the internet and applying for the dental grant in March 2011 allowed me to find Dr. Mercurio.

Dr. Mercurio’s office was in good proximity for me, and I had even passed his office many times on my way to my sister’s home.  This distance made it easy and convenient for me to have my dental exam and evaluation.
I am most pleased with Dr. Mercurio’s professionalism and compassion while he worked on my teeth, and more importantly I am so pleased with the final outcome of my upper teeth.

Having this partial grant of $1750 has made the commitment to have the work done by Dr. Mercurio even more enjoyable and affordable.

I am most grateful to all involved in allowing this grant program to exist, and I pray that I may be awarded the full grant to complete my dental work on my lower teeth in the near future.

Sincerely,

Joy Barrie Neptune City, NJ

To Whom It May Concern,

Thanks to the Cosmetic Dentistry Grants Program together with the OAAG for giving me the opportunity to take part in this program.  More particularly, thank you for your recent discretionary cosmetic dentistry grant of $1850 toward the treatment plan recommended by Dr. Shadi Shadid.

Yours truly,

Denzil Bailey Ottawa, ON

To the fine folks at Cosmetic Dentistry Grants….Thank you!

I play in a band called Hotcakes and my missing teeth were a real concern.  Thinking it was too good to be true, I filled out my application online to see about dental assistance, and lo and behold, your company came to my rescue.  What you do for people without insurance allows us to maintain a healthy appearance, so my hat is off to you!

Thanks again, and if you are ever in Virginia Beach please look “Hotcakes” up!

G-d Bless,

Dear Ms. Lola Snidman,

I’m writing to sincerely thank you for the opportunity you’ve opened up to me with the Cosmetic Dentistry Grant.  Having a full smile has been something I’ve dreamed of for a long time.  Your program has significantly lessened the financial obstacles to realizing this dream.  For that, I am truly thankful.

I would also like to thank Dr. Shadid and his staff.  I’m always apprehensive when first visiting a new dentist but my experience there has made me excited to have this dream fulfilled.  He and his staff have been instrumental in making me believe in myself and in the CDG program.  This belief and the generosity of the OAAG have brought me closer to that brand new smile.

Thank you again for your kindness.

Sincerely,

Ana Gargaun Ottawa, ON

Dear Lola Snidman,

Please let me express my gratitude for granting me a $725 cosmetic dentistry grant towards my dental work.  When I got your letter I was so happy and excited because I knew I'd finally be able to properly chew my food again! Before your grant I was unable to proceed with my treatment plan because the caust was just too much for me.

Thank you again.

Dear Lola,

It is with great appreciation that I send this Thank You note for the partial grant that was given to me to put towards the dental treatment plan recommended by Dr. Corey Rubinoff. Both he and his staff have been nothing short of short of amazing in their handling of my case.

Thanks again,

Landell Bloomfield Toronto, ON

Dear Mrs. Snidman,

When I was informed I would receive the Cosmetic Dentistry Grant I was and still am humbled and grateful. Thank you so much for this opportunity.  Dr. Landgraf's office, most especially Cathy, made my experience "priceless".  They made me feel like a valued patient improving my heart, self-esteem and confidence.  Dr. Landgraf is committed to his patients and to the cause of cosmetic dentistry.

I am so looking forward to showing off my new and improved smile at the family reunion this summer!

Thanks again.

Cleatus V. McConnell Florrisant, MO

Dear Lola Snidman,

Thank you so much for the Discretionary Dental Grant of $2050.00. This amount will help me do some, if not all, of the work on my teeth that Dr.Corey Rubinoff has recommended. I am excited to have teeth that will make me want to smile.

I would love to proceed with the Invisalign treatment as agreed, though I can not be sure at this time that I will be able to complete the work with the Veneers. I will make a decision about the veneers once the Invisalign treatment is completed

Thank you once again

Sincerely
,

Nadia Migliano Woodbridge, ON

Dear Lola,

Please accept this note of thanks for the generious grant of $4,100 towards my treatment plan recommended by Dr. Corey Rubinoff.

I very much appreciate the grant awarded to me by the Cosmetic Dentistry Grants Program.

Thank you,

Adrian Reynolds Mississauga, ON

Dear Lola,

Wow, all I can say is thank you! This award could not have come at a better time. A few months ago I was in an accident which totaled my car.  On top of that my mom who has been out of work for years reached the end of her savings.

With finances at home strained I felt like it would be forever before I could get my teeth fixed. Missing teeth had seriously affected my self esteem and faith.  Now I have renewed hope in God.

Thank you for setting up with program!

With love,

Britany Gibbs Plantation, FL

I can not express how grateful and excited I am that I have been selected!

I cried as I open your email, realizing what a turning point this might be for me with your assistance. I've been in and out of dental offices, have paid over $9000 for dental work, and still find myself missing teeth and completely unhappy with my smile at the age of 23.

The next step I was told was to put in implants and bridge work, however after spending so much money I have very little left for such an expensive process. I was diagnosed with gum disease a few years back and its been hard trying to save the few teeth I have left, because of personal and financial situations I could not tend to my oral health in the way it needs to be treated.

So I have to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you. This grant, your organization, and the staff at my dental office in Tamarac have been such a blessing!

So I say yes I accept your grant and thank you for making my future much brighter!

Bianca Denis Tamarac, FL

Dear Ms. Snidman,

I am writing to express my thanks to you and the Oral Aesthetic Advocacy Group for the partial grant that has been awarded to me for $4,100.

I am a woman in my 50's who has invested a great deal of money in cosmetic dentistry work for my three, now-grown, children but just never seemed to find the time and money to do my own.  As I watched my last son go through the process to see his beautiful smile at the end I decided to look into what would be required for myself.

I was so surprised and delighted to hear about your Grant Program. What a great opportunity! I salute the Advocacy Group as well as the individual Dental Practitioners who have come together to make this happen.

I am looking forward to smiling with confidence and laughing without holding a hand up to hide behind.

Warmly,

Lyl Kungl Markham , ON

Dear Lola Snidman,

I am very excited and thankful for the partial grant I received. The good news couldn't come at a better time! I think it is great that you are helping people's dreams come true including mine!

Sincerely,

Monique Vernon Brampton, ON

Dear Lola,

I wish to express my sincere appreciation and thanks to the OAAG for awarding me a partial grant of $4,200 towards my dental treatment. I was very excited when I received your letter. It has been my dream since childhood for me to have a perfect smile, and soon with your help I will finally have it.

Thank you very much once again for the opportunity to bring me one step closer to my dream.

My sincere thanks to you and your team.

Ernest Kiraly Thornhill, ON

Dear Ms. Lola Snidman,

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for the partial grant I have recieved.

My new smile thanks you.

Yours very truly,

Ken Mulhall Toronto, ON

Dear Lola,

Since I was a teenage, I have always wanted a perfect smile. As my friends would flash their pearly whites for the camera I would always keep my mouth closed, because I was embarrassed to show my teeth. I would sometimes (still do) laugh and hide my smile with my hand. I have always imagined what it would be like to smile in the mirror and see no gaps, crooked or missing teeth.

A few months back I toook a chance and applied for a cosmetic dentistry grant, hoping for the best, and within about a month of applying I recieved an email letting me know that I had recieved a partial grant towards my cosmetic dentistry work.

I want to thank the CDG program for giving me the chance to get one step closer to the smile of my dreams! I can't wait for the first time I can flash my own pearly whites for the camera with full confidence.

Thank you so much for your efforts in adding more smiles to the world!

Shazad Hai Toronto, ON

Dear Lola Snidman,

You will not be able to imagine what you and your team offered me. You have fulfilled a dream of mine for over 16 years. My heartfelt thanks to you, Lola, for the partial grant of $1800 offered to me at the end of January 2011. I know how long I have waited to be able to afford braces to straighten my teeth, and in no way was I able to afford this treatment before.

Your email brought tears to my eyes, and I felt like I had won the world! This grant gives new meaning to my life, and helps to erase the negative memories of being teased as a child because of my teeth. You have already helped boost my confidence.  Thank you once again and to Dr. Rubinoff for his amazing work.

Warmest regards,

Ayesha Wali Toronto, ON

Dear Lola,

I am writing to express my gratitude for rewarding me with a partial grant of $2,000 towards the dental esthetic treatment I have received from Dr. Corey Rubinoff.

Dr. Rubinoff , in my opinion, is a genius and one of the best and most caring dentist's I have had the pleasure to meet.  His caring nature and out of the box thinking to achieve a visually pleasing smile, is what makes him unique in his industry.

I didn't believe I could have a smile that I was proud of without going through the process of breaking my jaw and braces.  Instead of a three year commitment of pain and heartache, Corey simply reworked my smile via use of a bridge and capping.  He then designed the bridge to create a visually pleasing look that is also technically correct to bite.

If it wasn't for your granting program, I never would have met him.  So I thank you for finding my dentist.

Sincerely,

Lauie Hare Mississauga, ON

Dear Lola,

I am very excited and happy to be a recipiant for a grant! I can not thank you enough. I was overwhelmed when I recieved the news that I would be recieving a grant, in order to get Invisalign. I have always struggled with my confidence because of my smile and teeth. I did not want regular braces, because I would feel even more self concious when I smile or talk. Now, thanks to you, I am able to have Invisalign, and feel confident and proud of my smile!

I really appriciate what you and your team do, not just for me, but for others as well.

Sincerely,

Emily D'vaz Richmond Hill, ON

Dear Ms. Snidman,

I wish to express my sincere appreciation and thanks to the OAAG for awarding me a partial grant of $4000 towards my dental restoration treatment.  I was thrilled and excited when I received your communication to that effect, as this is going to make such a difference in my life - I'll be able to smile again without having to put my hand up over my mouth.

I have been very pleased with my treatment so far. I feel safe, and in good hands and I'm excited about the end result.

Again, my sincere thanks to your group.

Catherine Walton Toronto, ON

Dear CDG,

Your program gave me a nice financial break after I've already spent a significant amound of money on my dental problems.  I knew more was needed to finish what I had started, and I was afraid I couldn't afford it anymore. The partial grant I received will allow me to regain my confident smile, so tremendously important for me.  Thank you!

Another aspect I want to reveal is the immediate and outstanding service I received from the Cosmetic Dentistry Grants staff and from Dr. Corey Rubinoff.

Thank you all!

Anca Bosca Mississauga, ON

Dear Lola Snidman,

I was surprised to read that I had been selected for a partial grant when I read your letter. Let me express my sincerest gratitude for your generosity. With this grant, I will be able to proceed in obtaining the self confidence and smile that I have hoped for during the last 40 years of my life.

You and your group are making people like myself look at themselves in a whole new way.

Once again, thank you.

John A. Alves Guelph, ON

Good Afternoon Lola,

So good to speak with you on the phone, and to learn that this is a real and true grant! Life can let you down and although I try to stay positive it is easy to become jaded. Learning that this partial grant is actually real not only helps my confidence and my wallet, it also helps restore my faith in humanity and that there are actually people working to do good in this world. No joke.

My thank you letter starts with a story about a five year old girl who was running for the kiddie swings in a park near her house one spring morning. She ran so fast she got away from her mum and younger bother in the stroller because it was so rare to see a free swing! As she rounded the corner of the fence and torn a blue streak back towards the swings she didn't notice a boy who had gotten onto a swinging steel horse and got hit in the face as she ran past and the two collided. Of course that girl was me, some 21 years ago now, who looked up at her mum and while bleeding in her mother's arms, asked if she was dying.

As you can imagine this broke my mother's heart, not to mention my father's who was not there at the time. Neither of them have ever really forgiven themselves, even though I'm told (and vaguely remember) patting my father's back in the emergency room telling him that everything was going to be alright.

I went through many stitches, and many predictions of what would happen to my adult tooth- "The tooth will fall out." "It will grow in crooked." "It will be black!" None of this happened, so I was quite partial to this tooth that grew in totally straight and slightly yellowed but that had no root and was therefore considered "dead". It was a trooper in my mind, an anomaly and I didn't want to give up on my tooth as it hadn't given up on me.

Unfortunately there was an infection that had been receding the bone little by little over time and it had to be removed. After a particle bone graft and then a block graft from the bone in my hip I'm finally ready to have an implant all these years later. A bridge, which is what my insurance would partly cover, was not an option for me because I did not want to compromise my other teeth and I felt an implant was a better long term fix to a long standing issue. Truly, I've been dealing with this tooth, my 1-1, for most of my life. Feeling that my health was more important then money I decided on an implant and hoped I would be able to manage the financial burden.

My mum was the one that sent me the link for Cosmetic Dentistry Grants, I signed up thinking it was worth a shot but never thought in a million years would I be selected, even for a partial grant. My mum is so grateful because she feels that she has helped in my recovery, and I'm sure this has eased the long standing guilt for not being able to control the uncontrollable.

And that is my story of why I need this implant. So I thank you. Thank you for assisting with the financial burden that will put to rest a life long issue of a troublesome front tooth. A tooth that in the latter years has caused me to talk differently and change my smile so that it was not so broad or beaming because I was trying to hide it. Thank you for the inadvertent affect this has had on my mum, and for really being a real and true group of people who really do care.

Warmest regards,

Sarah Kindl Toronto, ON

Hi Lola,

I would like to express my appreciation for the grant of $3,500.  This is definitely a good start for the New Year as I will definitely have a beautiful smile by the end of the year.  I was very excited when I received the call from the you, stating that I won a partial grant.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Corey Rubinoff and his team for the complimentary assessment and their professionalism.

Once more a big THANK YOU.....

Shanta S. Singh Mississauga, ON

Hi Lola,

I wanted to keep you posted on everything.  I received the dental implants in December just before Christmas.

Originally when I filled out the application for the grant I mentioned that if I got the implants it would boost my self confidence and enhance my self esteem and that did happen.  When you called me that day I was so excited and left without words to express my feelings.

Since then I have lost 44lbs and now with a beautiful smile to go with that new look.

Thank you sooooooo......... much for giving me that opportunity to feel good about myself once again.  Dr. Kazman and his staff did a wonderful job.  You  should see me smile.  :)

To the Cosmetic Dentistry Grant Program:

It is with great enthusiasm that I accept your generous grant offer to put towards my cosmetic dental work!

I am extremely happy that there is an organization like yours out there that helps give people a chance to have the smile they always dreamed of become a reality. It is unbelievable to have received something that I otherwise may not have been able to get for myself.

I truly appreciate all the representatives that have been exceedingly helpful with explaining how the program works and their willingness in going the extra mile to make sure I understand everything and am happy. The correspondence I had with each of them was phenomenal as every email message was backed up by a telephone call and a letter in the mail. That really made communication more efficient and personalized which truly shows the dedication of making your grant applicants happy.

Not only are the associates great, but the team of dentists enrolled in the program are also leading professionals in their field. It is comforting to know that my dentist, Dr. Rubinoff, is knowledgeable and understanding of my vision and has the best resources and skills to create that for me. I appreciate when my doctor treats his profession like an art.

I am thrilled to have this once in a lifetime opportunity provided by your generous grant and I really can't believe a program like this exists and is so big-hearted to help ordinary individuals like myself. I will make sure to get the word out about this God sent program.

I encourage everyone to try this out if they think their appearance is hindered by their teeth even in the smallest way, you really have nothing to lose but a great smile!

Thank you,

Claudia Wroblewski Newcastle, ON

Dear Cosmetic Dentistry Grants,

I found the website after I went to a dentist and they wanted over $11,000 dollars for some fillings and crowns.  I figured I needed to do some research because on my salary this amount wasn't even feasible.

I found www.cosmeticdentistrygrants.org and was amazed how easy it was to apply for a grant.  The dentist they recommended was even better than the initial dentist.  Then less than 2 weeks of finishing the required treatment I got an email from Lola and then she called.  I was like thank you so much I would of never thought I would win the grant in the first place but let alone like 2 weeks after I finished the required treatment.

I believe my soon to be wife is even more excited because "I would never marry someone with bad teeth" even though it was a joke I pretty much went to the dentist for her and now thanks to Lola and her staff I am able to afford 3 new crowns. Thanks for the $4,500 dollars.

Sincerely,

John Smolarek Hights Town, NJ

When I heard of the Cosmetic Dentistry Grant program I figured it was a long shot.  The application process, however was straight-forward, and I was almost immediately put into touch with Dr. Shadid, an Ottawa professional who really made me feel comfortable and at ease with my case.

After finishing lunch today in my break room (and facing yet another long Friday afternoon) I received a life-changing email.  Following close behind this message was a phone call from the President of Cosmetic Dentistry Grants, Lola.  She informed me that I had won $7000 towards changing my smile, self-esteem level and personal outlook.  I was finally going to get my teeth fixed!  After screaming to my colleagues, calling my sister and boyfriend, I called my mom.  All of them couldn’t be happier for me!

At first I didn’t know whether to believe it.  It is still sinking in.  For once in my life I can laugh as hard as I want, smile to a new boss at work, or present at a conference without being self conscious. Taking some deep breaths I went back in my office and haven’t stopped smiling since.  Soon enough, I will be smiling with my new, more confident smile!

There are not enough words in the world to let you know how much this means to me.  I am so blessed and lucky to be the recipient of this grant, thank you all at Cosmetic Dentistry Grants from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you!

Sincerely,

Heather Dawn Sheppard Ottawa, ON

To Lola, Paula, Colleen & the entire team at the Cosmetic Dentisty Grants Program,

THANK YOU!!!  Please forgive me for yelling via type, but all caps and exclamations points are necessary in this case - I am so EXCITED and extremely GRATEFUL that I can hardley contain myself!

I have had a dead tooth in the front of my mouth for 25 years.  I had convinced myself to accept it & get over my dissapointing smile because it was still functional and I knew that I couldn't afford to get it fixed.  But, it has turned dark, is blue and has recently begun to ache in the gums, which I am told is the result of infection.  So, because of the infection, it is something that must be fixed, & as is the case with many others, my insurance doesn't cover any of the procedure.

I am a stay at home mom of 2 little ones and there is always something else that takes priority over my tooth.  I would just have to deal with a missing upper central incisor soon if it wasn't for this program and I am brought to tears every time I think about it.  This $5300 grant has made me feel so loved by God, & I am so grateful to all of you, the people behind the CDGP.  Please know that your hard work and efforts are so appreciated!  I have never seen myself with a smile that doesn't have to be edited in Photoshop & I can't wait!!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

Sincerely,

V.B. Sugar Hill, GA

Dear lola Snidman,

I’m writing you this letter to thank you with all my heart for the cosmetic dental grant. Fixing my teeth has been a big dream of mine. This is something that I have been wanting to do for a very long time.

When I first applied for the grant I never thought I would be one of the lucky people to receive the generous amount of $9,900.00. Changing my smile is giving me the fresh start that I have been dreaming of. I have always covered my mouth with my hand when I laugh but soon I will have the confidence to show my teeth. I am so happy that I am going to have a smile that I will feel good about.

I would also like to thank Dr. Rubinoff and all of his staff. The day of my assessment I was very nervous and worried but his staff made me feel comfortable. I no longer feel nervous. Now I am excited. Dr. Rubinoff is a wonderful dentist.

I would have never been able to do this dental work without your wonderful organization and for that I am grateful. All of my friends are excited for me and I can’t wait to show them and my family my new smile.

Thank you again,

Ms. Joyce Sabit Scarborough, ON

Dear Cosmetic Dentistry Grants,

I randomly came across the Cosmetic Dentistry Grant website in early July.  I read all of the information and convinced myself I had nothing to lose by filling out the online application form.

Within a day or two I was notified by Colleen Richmond who was assigned to my file and a complimentary assessment was booked with Dr. Mark Kochman.  All of the staff, including Dr. Mark Kochman were so welcoming, professional and made me feel so comfortable.  They conducted a very thorough assessment which surprised me as I had never had that much time invested in assessing my teeth in my entire life.

I was delighted when I received confirmation that Dr. Kochman recommended that I be qualified to receive the Cosmetic Dentistry Grant.

On August 27, 2010, my prayers were answered and I received the phone call of a lifetime.  I was informed that I had been selected as a grant recipient in the amount of $19,000.00.  At first, I thought I was going to jump out of my chair but when I was actually able to digest the information I actually began to cry tears of joy.

Finally, after all of the negative experiences I have had in the past, I will finally have the beautiful smile I have always dreamed of.  I no longer have to hide behind my smile and I know that it will boost my self esteem and confidence from this point onward.

I am forever grateful to everyone from Colleen Richmond, Dr. Kochman and his staff, Lola Snidman (President & Founder of the Oral Aesthetic Advocacy Group Inc.) & Cosmetic Dentistry Grants.  I am looking forward to the procedures and to showing off my beautiful smile.

Sincerely,

Isabella Migliano Etobicoke, ON

To : Cosmetic Dentistry Grants,

I want to extend my overwhelmed appreciation. On this day of August 11, 2010, I received a call and an email from Lola Snidman (President of Cosmetic Dentistry Grants), confirming that I have been selected to receive a grant of up to $8500 for dental implants.

This is like a dream come true as I know that this will enhance my confidence in my everyday life.  I filled out the application online and the staff at Cosmetic Dentistry Grants was so efficient that I was immediately referred to a dentist in my area.

I also want to thank Dr. Efram Kazman for giving me an early appointment, free assessment and his staff, at his request, to forward my information for the draw.  All your hard work is appreciated.

Thank you very much and I look forward to this procedure.
